I know. I couldn’t have presented you with a more cliché post even if I tried. Hard. But I must admit – SATC will always be a limitless fountain of outfit inspiration, even to a classic/boring black-and-white-and-nude prude like myself. I recently revisited with the two movies, just to sit through 2 hours straight of bright outfits and accessories and hairstyles and shoes. See the main thread is timeless – brave, bold, adventurous personalities personify much better through color and vibrance than through 50 shades of black.
At least that’s what I’m feeling for now. So I’ll give it a go. The Carrie Way.

Luxembourg offers great shopping facilities for the shoe crazed. Just saying. I went without the faintest intention of purchasing anything, yet only a meager 2 hours after landing I had personally landed two new additions to my ever growing shoe collection – and both on sale no less! One pair being the above, long coveted, Valentino studded heels. I opted for a more untraditional color though…

This right here is the reason I’m a hard core Stevie Wonder fan. That incredibly funky, groovy, SOUL. Born and raised with his music, it will follow my forever no doubt. This past weekend my family and I travelled to Luxembourg to experience the greatest for the 3rd time in concert. Utmost respect and love.

BET 2014

The highest rated award show of the season, the BET awards kicked off last Sunday. This is without a doubt my one-to-watch award show, and with this year featuring performances by Usher, Drake, Lil Wayne, Missy Elliott, Pharrell, Nicki Minaj and a surplus more – I know what I’ll be tuning in for to the next rainy summer night!
